CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Mount Mercy had lost six straight heading into Sunday's Midwest Collegiate Conference softball doubleheader with William Penn, but ended that slide in a big way, sweeping the Lady Statesmen, 9-7 and 4-3, at Tomahawk Park.
