Coe-Iowa in Corridor Classic on Tuesday night

It's Iowa and Coe in the Corridor Classic college baseball game Tuesday night at 6:35 at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The NCAA Division III Kohawks are the substitute for Northern Iowa, which dropped its baseball program after last season.

General admission seats are $7. Tickets in the Pavilion that include all-you-can-eat privileges are $25.

You can order tickets via the Cedar Rapids Kernels ticket office (896-7560). Gates open at 5, with kids able to go on the field and play catch with Iowa and Coe players from 5:45-6:15.

Coe football coach Steve Staker, who was named Division III National Coach of the Year, will be honored before the game. Ceremonial first pitches will be thrown out by Iowa associate women's basketball coach Jan Jensen and Coe head women's basketball coach Randi Peterson, a former Iowa player.
