No. 6 Iowa City Regina got a 3-pointer, a steal and a basket — all in the final 8 seconds of regulation — and topped Maquoketa Valley in overtime, 61-53, in a Class 2A girls’ basketball regional semifinal Friday night at Regina High School.
Operating with one good eye and two strong legs, Lance McShane scored the winning touchdown on fourth down with 4:04 left to send Maquoketa Valley past North Linn, 22-15.
