Vito’s on 42nd rebrands again

CEDAR RAPIDS — After assuming new ownership with Jeff Beer and Kevin Flanagan, Vito’s on 42nd, at 4100 River Ridge Dr. NE, has taken on a new name for the second time this year.
In the spring, the restaurant was renamed Flano’s on 42nd. On Oct. 22, the restaurant started going by The Pines Pizza & Pub, which remains under the same ownership but with new management, according to KHAK.
The new menu offers bar-type appetizers like chili cheese fries and cheese curds, burgers and hot sandwiches, plus chicken wings on weekends. The restaurant also features a robust pizza menu.
