Tipsy Tomato reopens after remodeling

CEDAR RAPIDS — A Cedar Rapids restaurant has reopened after several months of remodeling.

Tipsy Tomato, a restaurant in the Epic Catering triplex at 319 Seventh St. SE, reopened Sept. 10, 2024, with a revamped kitchen and oven — along with a brand-new menu.

The overhauled menu under chef Bryce Vogel in the MedQuarter features gourmet salads, grilled cheese options like pear and Gouda or ham and pepperoncini, sandwiches with premium side options and build-your-own flatbreads.

Pizza, the restaurant’s previous focus when it opened in February 2023, is no longer on the menu.

Its new hours will be lunch-focused: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
