Tiffy Jo’s lands on “America’s Best Restaurants”

CEDAR RAPIDS — A Cedar Rapids diner has landed some recognition from a YouTube food show.

Tiffy Jo’s Diner & Energy Bar, which opened in October 2023 at 2727 Sixth St. SW, soon will make an appearance on “America’s Best Restaurants.”

The web series features several hosts who travel the country to find interesting food, and showcase the stories of mom and pop restaurants. It produces about 10 episodes a week, with more than 1,000 already on their channel.

“We’re one of America’s Best Restaurants! But don't’ take our word for it — the experts say so too!” the breakfast and lunch cafe posted on social media Aug. 26.

A release date for the episode has not yet been announced.

Tiffy Jo’s joins several Eastern Iowa restaurants who have made an appearance on the show, including Sugapeach Chicken & Fish Fry in North Liberty and Sweetopia Emporium in Marion.
