CEDAR RAPIDS — A new sports bar is taking up residence in Kingston Village.
Signs have started to appear in recent weeks for The Blue Dane at the ground floor of The Metropolitan building, 450 First St. SW, Unit 101.
Public details are minimal on the new spot, described only as “an upscale neighborhood sports bar” for “elevated comfort food, quality drinks, and a refined, welcoming vibe.”
The administrator of the restaurant’s social media page said the restaurant plans to open by Feb. 14.
The space was previously home to the Cedar Rapids location of Quinton’s Bar & Deli, which moved to 5741 C St. SW after being sold to new owners in November.
