Scooter’s opens first Hiawatha location

HIAWATHA — Scooter’s Coffee has opened its first location in Hiawatha, expanding its footprint even farther north in the Corridor.
The new location, 1004 Robins Road, opened Sept. 26. A grand opening event is scheduled for Oct. 7, during which customers can receive half off any drink by paying through Scooter’s Coffee’s mobile app.
The Nebraska-based coffee brand, known for its tiny coffee houses and often drive-thru only service, has expanded rapidly over the Corridor in recent years. It has 450 locations in 26 states, with commitments to build new stores in more than 30 states.
The new location is owned by Brent and Cassie Votroubek.
