CEDAR RAPIDS — Roasters has closed a chapter on its location at the downtown Cedar Rapids Public Library.
Library patrons may have noticed an absence at the café’s space on the ground floor. Roasters Library Edition announced its closure in July; its last day was July 31.
The cafe stepped into the space at 450 Fifth Ave. SE in 2021, after Greyhound Cafe closed. Under new ownership, it brought a new breakfast menu to the library.
Roasters remains open at its two other locations: NewBo City Market and 1059 N. Center Point Rd. in Hiawatha.
