New Culver’s planned for southeast Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS — A new Culver’s restaurant is in the works for southeast Cedar Rapids.
The new location will be built at 9060 Earhart Ln. SW, according to permits approved by the City of Cedar Rapids in September.
Google location results indicate the new location is slated for opening on Feb. 23, 2026.
Not far from the Eastern Iowa Airport, the new Culver’s will be about 5,000 square feet and include a drive-thru.
The Midwestern chain, known for its butter burgers, frozen custard and cheese curds, currently has three locations — one each in Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha and Marion.
