New cocktail bar to share space with coffee shop

CEDAR RAPIDS — A new cocktail bar plans to bring nightlife to an unusual spot for alcohol.
Starting Feb. 13, patrons can visit 333 First St. SE, Suite 100, for coffee in the morning and martinis in the evening.
The space, home to Craft’d for several years, will transform into Craft’d After Dark starting at 5 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Hours for the stylish lounge extend until 10 p.m. on Thursday and 11 p.m. on weekends.
“We will be sharing the space of the amazing coffee shop, Craft’d, but we are a completely separate business,” the new bar said in a social media statement.
