McDonald’s reopens Blairs Ferry Road location in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS — A Golden Arches in northeast Cedar Rapids has reopened after several months of renovations.

The McDonald’s location at 5725 Dry Creek Ln. NE, right off Blairs Ferry Road, reopened last week.

The location was closed about five months for reconstruction.

The new opening features a modern, minimalist interior design in keeping with the dominant aesthetic of other newer locations, such as the one at 4520 First Ave. NE.

These newer designs include a closed kitchen, new features to enhance the mobile ordering experience, and an ordering experience more focused on kiosks for diners inside the restaurant.
