CEDAR RAPIDS — An evening farm-to-table experience is returning to NewBo City Market for its third annual year.
Market by Moonlight, set for Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. will feature a choice of menus for a four-course meal with optional drink pairings.
The dinner will feature items from a variety of market vendors, as well as meats and produce from local farmers, set to a backdrop of live music.
Guests can choose from one of three menus:
- Americana, with food from KC Cakes and Cajun, Smiley’s Soup and Sandwiches, and Aroma Artisan Pizza
- Central and South America, with food from Nechus, Caribbean Kitchen, and La Reyna exploring flavors from El Salvador, Mexico, Venezuela and more
- A Tour of Asia, a vegan-friendly option featuring flavors from India and Korea by vendors Oja and Saatvik Swaad
Tickets are available now at Eventbrite.com for $108, or $135 for tickets with drink pairings. Each ticket includes a $50, tax-deductible donation to NewBo City Market, a nonprofit business incubator.
