CEDAR RAPIDS — Full Bowl is moving on to a larger space.
The restaurant known for its vegan and vegetarian rice bowls made from scratch left its spot at NewBo City Market on Dec. 29. But it won’t be gone long.
Its new stand-alone location, 120 10th Ave. SE, is under renovation and will reopen in the coming weeks. A reopening date has not yet been announced.
“We plan to keep the core of our current menu and be open for breakfast hours as well,” owner Tim Salis told The Gazette. “We may make small additions to our menu to start, and then hope to continue making additions as we get into spring time.”
The space will offer indoor dining, as well as outdoor tables seasonally on its patio.
The building, historically known as the Czech School Building, recently served as Delia’s Baked Goods for several months until its closure in November.
