Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers builds new location in Marion

MARION — A fast-growing development in Marion is adding one more option to its list of restaurants.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will be opening soon at 6001 Carlson Way. The restaurant, currently under construction, is slated to open in late spring.

The new location will be Freddy’s fourth in the Corridor, and its third in Cedar Rapids. It has locations at Blairs Ferry Road and Westdale Mall in Cedar Rapids, and on Second Street in Coralville.

“We’re thrilled to enter this dynamic neighborhood that is flourishing with restaurants and retail businesses,” said Steven Young, operating partner. “Our newest location is an easily accessible dining option for guests traveling along the highway, as well as guests looking for a place to eat after shopping at our retail neighbors.”

The freestanding, 3,000-square-foot restaurant will offer dine-in seating, a patio, a drive-thru and mobile ordering. It joins several other restaurants in the same development including Daisy’s Garage, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Panchero’s, Pizza Ranch and Scooter’s Coffee.
