CEDAR RAPIDS — Chick-fil-A has opened its third location in Cedar Rapids.
The fast food chicken chain opened Oct. 10 at 3241 Blairs Ferry Rd. NE. The new location is open for dine in, carryout, drive-thru customers and mobile orders. It joins two other Chick-fil-A locations in Cedar Rapids at the Lindale Mall and Westdale Mall areas.
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A Inc. donated $25,000 to support hunger relief efforts at HACAP, a Feeding America partner food bank.
Amgad Zaghloul, franchise owner of the new location, has also served as owner-operator of Chick-fil-A’s location in southwest Cedar Rapids for the past nine years. Previously, he worked in the aerospace and defense industry.
“I have had the honor of calling Cedar Rapids home for the past 25 years. It’s where my kids were born, where I’ve built lifelong friendships and where I’ve built a true sense of community,” Zaghloul said in a press release. “As I prepare for this new chapter, I look forward to continuing to bring joy, connection and lasting memories to this incredible community.”
