A small Iowa chain plans to open its fourth location in Marion soon.

It anticipates a summer opening.
The restaurant, first established in 2011, also offers a different variety of Iowa-brewed beers on tap and specialty cocktails.
“I’m thrilled to bring our warm, fun and inviting ‘taking care of people’ concept to Marion,” said founder Jimmy Holt in a news release. “We look forward to getting to know our patrons and providing them with excellent food, including our award-winning gourmet burgers.”
Barrel House will open in a 4,267-square-foot location on the east end of an existing retail office building, according to a news release from GLD Commercial Real Estate.
“Barrel House will be a wonderful addition to Marion and brings a much needed amenity to this growing area,” said Adam Gibbs, broker associate, give there are 3,000 households within a one-mile radius and several schools within walking distance.
