BrewNost tickets on sale for 20th anniversary celebration

CEDAR RAPIDS — Tickets for BrewNost’s 20th annual celebration at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library are on sale now.
This year’s celebration on Friday, Sept. 15, includes international beers, wines and spirits curated by Doug Alberhasky from John’s Grocery in Iowa City. The annual event with live music, auction prizes, and a raffle drawing for a trip a to Prague supports the educational and cultural mission at the museum and library.
This year’s ticket system offers more levels to enjoy BrewNost in a new way, with tickets ranging from $55 to $150.
Designated driver tickets, $55, offer unlimited food, non-alcoholic beverages and a 2023 BrewNost glass to those ensuring a safe ride home to other attendees. General admission, at $60, includes unlimited beverages and a glass, plus a safe ride home worth up to $25. Food is available for purchase to general admission ticket holders.
General admission this year comes in $25 lower than last year’s event.
VIP Admission, the most expensive option at $150, also includes unlimited food and access to an after party at Hospoda in the Czech Village, where generous supporters can eat free pizza and heavily discounted pints of Pilsner Urquell beer.
