Aroma Artisan Pizza opens second Cedar Rapids location

CEDAR RAPIDS — A Cedar Rapids pizza shop has opened its second location.
Aroma Artisan Pizza, first opened by Carol Elliott and her family at NewBo City Market in 2017, opened its second location in the Kingston Yard development on Nov. 1.
The new spot at 151 First Ave. SW, Suite 100, will focus on counter service with seating for 25 in a 2,200-square-foot build-out. The ground floor restaurant will be one of the closest to Pickle Palace, with patio seating and proximity to the development’s entertainment and performance stage.
In addition to Aroma’s signature wood-fired pizzas, the new location’s menu will offer pizza by the slice, and some of the same treats the family business serves at Luna Gelato in NewBo Market.
