7 Brew Coffee plans new location in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS — A drive-thru coffee chain is planning its first Eastern Iowa location near Lindale Mall.

The new opening, being constructed at 157 Collins Rd. NE next to Five Guys, will be 7 Brew’s third location in Iowa. It has 353 locations across 32 states, including two in the Des Moines metro.

The coffee shop will open April 21, according to a new Google listing.

Each location, built with a small stand footprint emphasizing drive-thru service, offers a menu of handcrafted signature drinks like the “Blondie” with caramel and vanilla breve or the “Cinnamon Roll” with white chocolate and brown sugar cinnamon. In addition to espresso-based classics, it carries a full line of energy drinks, teas, lemonades, smoothies and milkshakes.
