Somersaults’ Carly Cronbaugh wins state gymnastics gold

Carly Cronbaugh of the Somersaults Gymnastics team tied for first in the floor exercise at the Junior Olympic state compulsory gymnastics meet at the Cedar Rapids Association of Gymnastics last weekend.
Competing in Level 3, Cronbaugh also placed second in the all around and vault and third in the beam.
Teammate Ashlyn Sheeley placed second in the floor exercise in Level 4, and Cassidy Fangmann was second in the vault and third on the beam in Level 5.
Earlier this month, at the Jingle Bell Gymboree, also hosted by CRAG, Sheeley won the vault, placed second in the all around and floor and third in two other events in Level 3. Fangmann won the vault in Level 5 and placed second in the all around, floor and beam and third on the bars.
Cronbaugh also placed in the top three in Level 3, Alyssa Jarchow and Esti Bishop in Level 4 and Paisley Joens in Level 5.
CRAG DOMINATES GYMBOREE
Jules Miskell, Londyn Stoffel, Lauren Miller and Alivia Foster of the Cedar Rapids Association of Gymnastic were triple winners at the Jingle Bell Gymboree it hosted earlier this month.
In Xcel Silver, Miskell won the beam, floor exercise and all around and Stoffel captured the vault, bars and beam.
Miller won the vault, beam and all round in Xcel Gold and Foster was first in the vault, floor and all around in Xcel Platinum.
Sydney Luckey (beam and all around) in Xcel Silver won a pair of event, as did Reyata Ortiz (vault, all around) and Emmalyse Bordingnon (bars, floor) in Gold, and Megan Doyle (beam, all around) and Aniyah Lederle (bars, floor) in Platinum.
Other CRAG winners were Geniva Bann (vault) in Level 3, Ella Gilchrist (beam) and Leah Huber (floor) in Silver, and Emersyn Secora (vault), Kori Lyle (beam) and Lexie Goldsmith (vault) in Platinum.
Top three placewinnesr were Liana Thye in Level 3, Mika Marsh, Bianca Warner, Catey Kluesner and Reagan Furler in Silver, Isabel Osterhaus in Gold and Maggie Schlamp in Platinum.
At the state compulsory meet, which CRAG also hosted, Bann placed in two events.
