It's Northwestern-Iowa Week, so the Mike Hlas Podcast is talking Northwestern.
The guest this week is Northwestern grad/Northwestern season ticket-holder/Cedar Rapids executive Doug Neumann. Doug is a former Gazette editor and reporter who is the executive vice president of the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance. In the spirit of full disclosure, that's also where my wife works. But she has no knowledge of Northwestern football.
Doug has some interesting comments on what it was like to follow Wildcats football back in the back old days as a student, and see them rise to winning levels in the mid-1990s andn again in recent years.
