Hey, what's this? Yes, the Mike Hlas Podcast is back from summer vacation just in time for football season. Funny how that worked out.
Since Illinois State is Iowa's initial opponent of 2015, we sought to have someone well-steeped in the Redbirds and their run to the FCS national-championship game last season. We have just the person in Dick Luedke, the longtime play-by-play radio announcer for Illinois State football and basketball.
Dick discusses the rise of Brock Spack's ISU program, and what he thinks it will take for the Redbirds to leave Kinnick Stadium Saturday with an upset victory.
