Some days, you just need to flip your perspective.

After a series of long and heavy news days, the weekend was in sight. Having already worked nearly 10 hours for the day, I was looking forward to my final assignment of the shift -- a straightforward graduation picture. However, the universe had other ideas.

After sprinting through campus with all my photo gear, I discovered the ceremony had concluded before I even walked in. Frustrated and dejected, I made the long, sweaty walk to my car, annoyed that I capped an emotionally and physically taxing week with failure.

However, while looking at the ground, I noticed shadows dancing upside-down in the afternoon light. All it took was the slight change of perspective to see beauty in an otherwise frustrating day.
