Photos: Californians enjoy the Iowa snow

The Nguyen family of California enjoyed the snow outside their home in Cedar Rapids on Thursday. The family primarily lives in California but visits Iowa several times a year.

Five Eastern Iowa counties — Linn, Johnson, Keokuk, Washington and the southern half of Benton County — were under a winter storm advisory until 6 p.m. Thursday, with snowfall of 1 to 2 inches reported.
