UI is competing with other Big Ten Conference schools to see which one can collect the most blood donations. The winner, announced Dec. 7, will receive $1 million to fund student or community health efforts.

The blood drive is part of a competition between the 18 Big Ten Conference schools. The winning university receives $1 million to fund student or community health efforts. The blood drive continues in the IMU on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The competition runs through Dec. 6, with the winner announced at the Big Ten Championship Game on Dec. 7, in Indianapolis.
