The Cedar Rapids Jefferson J-Hawks hosted the Marshalltown Bobcats for an Iowa Class 5A high school football game at Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids. The J-Hawks defeated the Bobcats 40-0 to move to 2-0 on the season. The J-Hawks’ season opening win against Muscatine snapped a 26-game losing streak that began in the 2019 season.
