New location for Cedar Rapids’ Tree of Five Seasons

The monument — a physical embodiment of the city’s slogan — was moved about 80 feet to the east of its original location on the Cedar River’s east bank, near City Hall. The move was necessary to accommodate construction of the city’s permanent flood control system.
