It's maple syrup time at Indian Creek Nature Center.
On Saturday, visitors learned about all the aspects that go into making the sticky-sweet topping. From tree identification to sap boiling, the visitors learned that real maple syrup is time-consuming yet rewarding process.
The groups learned about traditional and modern ways of making maple syrup, and then had a chance to tap a maple tree and sample its sap.
