Dancers from Cedar Rapids Xavier won the state title in Hip Hop Class VII on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at the Iowa State Dance and Drill Team Association state championships in Des Moines.

Joining Xavier in the Class VII field were Western Dubuque, which placed fourth behind Xavier, runner-up North Polk and third-place Bondurant-Farrar; Marion; and North Cedar. In addition, Cedar Rapids Jefferson competed in Class IX, Cedar Rapids Washington was in the Class VIII field and Benton Community took part in Class VI.
