Mount Mercy and Waldorf Honor Fallen Teammate

Players from both the women's and men's soccer teams from Mount Mercy University and Waldorf College took a moment to honor teammate Haley Rinaldi. Rinaldi, who died in a boating accident in Colorado at the end of July 2013. She was a member of the Waldorf team until she transferred to Mount Mercy in 2012. It was interesting to witness players from all four teams coming together to release purple balloons in honor of Rinaldi between the men's and women's games. The players and others gathered for the games observed 30 seconds of applause for Rinaldi as well.
