Christian actor T.C. Stallings to speak at Good Friday Prayer Breakfast

CEDAR RAPIDS - Actor, author and motivational speaker T.C. Stallings headlines this year's Good Friday Prayer Breakfast - on Friday, April 14 - in Cedar Rapids.
The annual, multidenominational event serves as an opportunity for attendees to enjoy breakfast while sharing in prayer and hearing the keynote address, said Bob Klaus, director of the prayer breakfast.
Stallings, who most recently starred in the 2015 Christian film 'War Room,” is to speak on his personal journey with faith, Klaus said.
Klaus said he has heard Stallings speak on three occasions.
'I've been telling people that of all the speakers we've had, he will deliver one of the most inspirational messages we've ever had,” Klaus said.
The Good Friday Prayer Breakfast has drawn big names in the past, including NFL Hall of Famer Kurt Warner and former Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal. Last year, the keynote speaker was Dr. Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King Jr.
The Good Friday Prayer Breakfast takes place at the Cedar Rapids Marriott, 1200 Collins Road NE, from 7 to 9 a.m. Doors open at 6:30 a.m.
Tickets are available at Family Christian store, 4701 First Ave. SE #10, Cedar Rapids.
Klaus said tickets are on sale until Thursday evening. No tickets will be sold at the door Friday morning.
One ticket for open seating costs $20, and a table of 10 for open seatings costs $200. Priority seating prices range from $375 to $575.
