Best Bets: AsianFest

Experience the flair, fusion and flavors of Asia in Eastern Iowa at the fifth annual AsianFest. Live cultural performances throughout the day will showcase various styles, from Bollywood fusion dancing to Filipino stage show and martial arts demonstrations. Vendors will prepare ethic cuisine and beverages for guests to purchase and savor. Other activities include interactive villages highlighting traditions, language and clothing; Kids' Zone; and an evening fashion show with models dressed in traditional and modern Asian outfits. An international dance party wraps up the festivities, as DJ Envy, the official DJ for the Atlanta Falcons, spins contemporary tracks from various Asian countries.
