Snowmobile safety course set in Allamakee

A snowmobile safety course will be offered from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 8 at the Allamakee County Conservation Board office in Harpers Ferry.

The class will cover safety, sled maintenance, applicable laws and ethics. Participants will complete both classroom and riding requirements.

Students must be at least 12 years old, and adults are welcome to attend. A $5 registration fee is payable the day of the class.
