'River groove music' highlights Project AWARE stop
Big Blue Sky will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July13, 2011, at the Elkader Opera House as part of the weeklong Project Aware on the Turkey River.
The concert is sponsored by the Clayton County Conservation Awareness Network.
Big Blue Sky, which specializes in “original river groove music,” features singer/songwriter Jon Stravers, a bird expert and authority on the Upper Mississippi River.
The cost of the event is a donation only and a silent auction will be held in conjunction with the concert.
