Rettig and Yeager win bass club tourney

The team of Todd Retting and Dave Yeager caught 10 bass weighing 26.52 pounds to win the Hawkeye Bass Club's tournament June 11 and 12 on the Mississippi River at Marquette.
Rick Svatos and Chris Yeager finished second with 10 fish weighing 22.43 pounds. Charlie Noaker and Kalvin Villhauer finished third with eight bass weighin 20.28 pounds.
Rettig's 3.64 pounder took big fish honors on day one. Noaker's 3.49 pounder topped the second-day catch.
