CEDAR RAPIDS-More than 500 master gardeners will stroll through Iowa Hall at Kirkwood Community College for the annual Master Gardener Winter Gardening Fair. 45 presenters will host workshops on gardening tips, yard art, and photography. Event organizers say despite the chilly weather, now is the time to start thinking about your spring garden.
"Working at their garden catalogue, planting their seeds, selecting what they want this year, vegetables need to be started ahead of time and even in their flower gardener,” said Master Gardener Debbie Main.
60 volunteers help to put on the fair with more attendees this year than ever before.
