Linn County receives tree grants from Trees Forever and Alliant Energy

Volunteers and community leaders with Linn County are preparing to plant trees to provide more shade and save energy. The trees will be planted at the Community Services Building of Linn County on October 26 at 9:00 a.m. The local effort is part of the statewide Trees Forever and Alliant Energy Branching Out community tree-planting program and Project trEE-O2. Linn County is receiving $19,015 for trees through the two grants.
