Hickory Hill Warbler Walk 5/9

This morning walk produced the following sightings [and 'hearings']: Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Least Flycatcher, Eastern Phoebe, Great Crested Flycatcher, Eastern Kingbird, Blue-headed (Solitary) Vireo, Yellow-throated Vireo, Black-capped Chickadee, House Wren, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Wood Thrush, Gray Catbird, Blue-winged Warbler, Golden-winged Warbler, Nashville Warbler , Yellow Warbler, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Magnolia Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Palm Warbler, Blackpoll Warbler, Black-and-white Warbler, American Redstart, and Northern Waterthrush.
Migration is continuing. Yellow-rumps are still being seen, so it is early. But the 12 species seen in the park today was not exactly the same as the 12 seen yesterday. Five species seen today were not found yesterday and 4 of Sundays sightings were not found today.
