Fly fishing school convenes April 23

The Iowa School of Fly Fishing will offer a one-day course from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 23 at the Department of Natural Resources hatchery near Manchester.
Designed for beginning fly fishers, the class will cover equipment and flies, common knots, the biology and behavior of trout and other game fish, effective fly presentations and casting, fighting and releasing fish.
The $75 cost includes snacks and lunch.
