Eastern Iowa Sportshow opens March 11

The Eastern Iowa Sportshow opens March 11 for its 36th annual run at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
Exhibits include resorts, fishing camps, charters and hunting outfitters, and displays include boats and recreational vehicles, as well as fishing, hunting and camping gear.
Fishing seminars feature walleye expert Keith Kavajecz and bass expert James Lindner. Rick and Julie Kreuter will present hunting seminars.
On March 12, Mike Steuck with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources will discuss Mississippi River panfishing at 2 p.m. and Mississippi walleye and sauger fishing at 6 p.m.
Trophy buck scoring will be available on March 12 and 13, along with the World's Outstanding Whitetails display.
Hours are 2 to 9 p.m. March 11, 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 12 and 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 13. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for youth age 10 to 15 and free for those age 9 and younger.
