What would continuous tax cuts do to Iowa?

John Henrickson’s guest column ("2022 should be a great year for taxpayers," Sept. 19) says: "Iowa's goal should be to continuously lower tax rates."
Really? Presumably, until there are no taxes at all? Until we have no funds for roads, public schools, parks and green space, for taking care of the needy, the elderly and the infirm? Hendrickson's world is without any sense of community; one reserved only for the rich. It's a world without love or social consciousness. I don't want to live in the kind of world John Hendrickson envisions.
