Route from Cuba closed, but border remains open

Historically the United States government has stood tall for freedom and against totalitarian communism. We are not helping the people of Cuba with their latest street demonstrations and rebellion? No further sanctions by our government or any help to the demonstrators?
Now we know that the Biden Administration has ordered the U. S. Coast Guard to turn back any Cubans boating to Florida. But the southern U. S. Border remains open to over 1 million illegals crossing this year; most are not vaccinated and perhaps as many as 25 percent showing symptoms of COVID. Taxpayer funds are used to transport the “captured” aliens willy nilly to interior parts unknown by the destination cities — until the plane lands or the bus arrives. We don’t have a say — just write the check and be quiet.
