Republicans should follow, Lincoln, McCain

The Republican Party is the party of Lincoln, our great president who issued the Emancipation Proclamation.
Gov. Robert Ray was our Republican governor who challenged Iowans to welcome Vietnam refugees, and we did.
John McCain was a Republican senator who served with honor and distinction in the military and worked hard for campaign finance reform.
Now come the Trumpers. They are mean-spirited and tell lies.
My hope is that Republicans will reject their bad behavior.
