Relief funds are for people, not ads

Dear Gov. Kim Reynolds,

I read with dismay in The Gazette that you plan to use pandemic relief funds on a media campaign to lure people to Iowa. What about the people that already live here? Shouldn't pandemic relief funds go to those small business owners that lost their investments and their businesses because of COVID? They are still suffering and you want to spend their much-needed relief money on ads? What is the matter with you? Have you no compassion? We shop local small businesses so that no more of them will go under. We do our part, why don't you? Counting the days to the next gubernatorial election. Good luck with that.
