On 2021: Reignite the Cedar Rapids vibe

We all know how tough 2020 was for our community and I would rather not revisit the grim details. Rather, in forecasting 2021, I believe Cedar Rapids will have a new appreciation for our local restaurants, retail shops and cultural venues.
I see a rebirth on our horizon. It looks like this: We are greeted with wide smiles and open arms as we enter our locally curated spaces. We imbibe in the environment, and succumb to the art, food, drink, entertainment, goods and most importantly the local vibe. The Cedar Rapids vibe.
Our local businesses and venues have learned how to be nimble, how to serve with limitations, how to deliver results during unpredictable times, how to better market their wares, and ultimately how to survive. Believe it or not, our community businesses have become something different, something better, a stronger version of themselves if you will.
Well, get ready folks! You are a part of something very special! By the summer of 2021, there will be so many great things going on in Cedar Rapids, it will be tough to choose. No matter what you choose, I hope to see you there.
