I am a Democrat because I believe in the Bible:
1 Timothy 6: 17, 18: “Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth... but to put their hope in God. Command them to do good... and to be generous and willing to share.”
Isaiah 40:17: “Before him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing.”
Hebrews 13:16: “And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.”
Isaiah 58:7: “Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless.”
John 13:34: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.”
Galatians 3:28: “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
