Leaders don’t want Iowans to be too smart

It's not surprising that the Iowa Republicans passed a bill that restricts public educators from teaching divisive concepts such as critical race theory (something I've never heard of in my 61 years until recently). They want their constituents to be just smart enough to run the machinery, but not smart enough to see how badly they're getting screwed by their cronies on Wall Street.
A nation of critical thinkers is the biggest threat to the Republican Party and they're pulling every stunt possible to prevent it.
