Ernst opposes bills that will help people

Sen. Joni Ernst blames President Joe Biden for mishandling the evacuation in Afghanistan. That is false, since former President Donald Trump was the person who negotiated a bad deal with the Taliban in May of 2020. Ernst never said a word when Trump was trying to make this deal with the Taliban.

Ernst also voted against the bipartisan infrastructure bill which is moving through Congress at the present time. She claims that it costs too much and will drive up the federal debt. Ernst must have a short memory because she was ominously silent when Trump lost a great deal of revenue with his tax cuts to large corporations and very wealthy individuals. Biden's infrastructure bills will help middle class people and create millions of new jobs. Sen. Ernst continues to be an obstructionist by voting against bills that help people.
