Does Reynolds believe Iowans will do the right thing?

When a person repeats something, she may be trying to convince herself that she believes what she's saying. Gov. Kim Reynolds' repetition of "I trust Iowans to do the right thing" has become a sore in my ear. If Reynolds believed what she said, she would trust school districts and local school boards to "do the right thing" for their students and staff and districts.
